Beyond its impressive hardware specifications, the USW-Flex-2.5G-8-PoE offers advanced Layer 2 switching features to enhance network performance and security. These include support for Spanning Tree Protocol (STP/RSTP) with configurable priorities and port-level disable options, storm control, multicast and broadcast rate limiting, flow control, jumbo frames, egress rate limiting, proprietary loop protection, port isolation, and port mirroring. These features empower network administrators to optimize traffic management and maintain a robust and secure network environment.
The USW-Flex-2.5G-8-PoE boasts a compact and durable polycarbonate enclosure, measuring 212.9 x 99.4 x 33.5 mm and weighing 567 grams. Its design supports wall mounting (kit included) and DIN rail mounting (sold separately), allowing for versatile installation options to suit various deployment scenarios. The switch operates efficiently in ambient temperatures ranging from -20 to 45°C with humidity levels between 10 to 90% non-condensing, making it suitable for diverse environmental conditions.
