The Ubiquiti UniFi AP-AC
(UAP-AC) is a dual-band Wi-Fi access point that operates at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies and supports 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac wireless standards with high data transfer rates.
Thanks to the new 802.11ac wireless standard, the device can transmit data at speeds of up to 1300 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and up to 450 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. 3×3 MIMO technology is supported for each frequency band.
The device is equipped with two Gigabit Ethernet ports. The power of both wireless transmitters is 28 dBm (631 mW), providing Wi-Fi coverage of up to 122 meters. The UniFi AC access point can serve a total of 200 client devices across both bands.
The UAP-AC is powered in two ways: via a 48V, 0.5A Gigabit PoE adapter or via the 802.3af/at PoE standard (compatible 802.3af class 4 or 802.3at PoE switches).
